From 26 – 27 June 2026, Grace Wothaya Kihagi, Erick Agure, Marian Abrafi Osei and Rhodah Nekesa from the Nutrition and Planetary Health Division attended the 6th Annual GLOHRA Day, and Early Career Symposium hosted by the German Alliance for Global Health Research at Charité-Universitätsmedizin in Berlin.
The four researchers actively contributed to discussions on climate-resilient health systems, policy engagement, advocacy and non-communicable disease research in sub-Saharan Africa. The researchers exchanged ideas, built collaborations and explored practical ways to improve global health through research and policy.
Marian facilitated a peer-coaching session that sparked new professional connections among early career researchers.
Cool fact: Great research thrives on collaboration. The symposium connected a community of researchers whose voices, passion and ideas align in working towards a healthier and a more sustainable future
